2017: Permit and kitchen
2017 was mainly the year of the building permit. In January, the architect created the first version of the application, a fire safety report was drawn up, building authority came up with a number of additional questions, historic preservation has visited the Schloss, an structural engineer has calculated everything again, the fire safety report is was rechecked, but finally, in November there was the decision: I can continue with the renovation on the 1st floor.
In the meantime, I have started in the kitchen. There the pipework and electricity has been renewed, a front wall has been placed and walls and floor have been tiled. In the kitchen so far only a few work tables were set up, the rest of the equipment comes later.
